About Me
Welcome Friends, my name is Mike Eggers, I play the piano at a small church in Phoenix Arizona. I started playing piano about 4 years ago so that I could play at church and family events. I’m by no means a professional musician, but I don’t love to play music, and I’m getting better at the piano every day.
I started this website to reach people who want to learn the piano like I did. I wanted to liven my worship and be able to lead my family in hyms and carols on the piano around the holidays. That’s what I’ve found through playing the piano. I feel closer to both God and my family. I’m hoping that my experience and mistakes will help you be able to pray like you’ve always dreamed.
I came to the piano late in life, I’ve always wanted to play a musical instrument, but I thought it was impossible for an adult to really learn an instrument. Surprisingly, it didn’t actually take as long as I’d expected it to. It wasn’t superdifficult either. I’ll make sure to explain the tricks I used to help me learn to play the piano.
